- NV Valdo ‘Cuvee 1926’ Extra Dry (Valdobbiadene Prosecco): There’s an elegant Champers impersonation going on here. $24 B+
- 2020 Cantina Vignaioli Elvio Pertinace Dolcetto d’Alba (Piedmont): Playful and fun, just in a roughhousing kind of way. $18 B+
- 2020 Hit Ec Nunc ‘Monolite’ Cortese (Piedmont): Further evidence that these guys are doing just about everything right. $NA A-
- 2021 Chateau de Berne Cotes de Provence ‘Inspiration’ Rose (Cotes de Provence): Pretty in pink, with red berry and tropical flavors (and a finish that’s long AF). $21 B+
- 2019 Chateau Lagrange (Saint-Julien): Not an out of place hair or misaligned mannerism to be found. $75 A-
- 2020 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley): Substantial in everything, from fabulous fruit to fancy structure. $60 A-
- 2020 Merry Edwards Winery Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (Sonoma County): A spicebox on display, brimming with roses, tea, and cedar. $55 A-
- 2020 Merry Edwards Meredith Estate Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley): Blueberry, mulberry, rhubarb, cherry, all battened down for long haul repose. $106 A
- 2020 Siduri Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley): Meaty, spicy, and impressive, and quite self-aware of all three. $40 A-
- 2019 McIntyre Winemaker Series McIntyre Estate Vineyard Chardonnay (Santa Lucia Highlands): VERY nice combo indeed of rich/buttery with tropical/perfumed. $52 A-
