- NV Tenuta Baron Extra Dry Asolo Prosecco Superiore (Veneto): Balancing lip-smacking sweetness with palate-cleansing freshness. $NA B+
- NV Tenuta Baron Extra Brut Asolo Prosecco Superiore (Veneto): Pears, purity, and palate-pleasing roundness. $NA B+
- 2020 Renata Pizzulin ‘Melaris’ Malvasia Istriana Friuli Isonzo (Friuli-Venezia Giulia): Not your typical Malvasia expression, but so quaffable that you’re not likely to care. $NA B+
- NV Jacquesson Cuvee 743 Extra Brut (Champagne): Intense, linear, fresh, and intense. Did I mention intense? $90 A-
- 2022 Benedicte & Stephane Tissot Arbois Rouge DD (Jura): A lot of florals, a little bit of fizz, and a metric ton of fun. $45 A-
- 2020 E. Guigal Cotes du Rhone (France): A jammy bargain tailor made for comfort foods. $16 B+
- 2022 La Perdida ‘O Trancado’ Tinto (Galicia): Funky in all of the best, food-friendlier ways possible. $50 A-
- 2021 Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg Riesling (Kamptal): Packing a whole lot of citrus and even more easy-going enjoyment. $22 B+
- 2021 American Wine Project ‘Sympathetic Magic’ Marquette (Wisconsin): A fine showcase for combining natural wine techniques, hybrids, perseverance, and talent. $35 A-
- 2022 Buona Notte ‘Mortadella’ White Wine (Columbia Valley): Orange wine that doesn’t break the bank or disappoint the drinker. $30 A-
