- 2022 Tenuta del Gelso Braschi ‘Campo Mamante’ (Albana di Romagna Secco): Hard not to love this bold, structured, and looooooong take on Italy’s first DOCG white. $NA A-
- 2022 Cantina Forli Predappio Tratti d’Autore (Albana di Romagna Secco): Bodaciously tasty, mixing alluring tropical fruit with elegant white flower action. $NA A-
- 2022 Fatoria del Monticino Rasso ‘A’ (Albana di Romagna Secco): Mix of perfumed fantasy and down-home grilled citrus. $NA B+
- 2022 Fattoria Zerbina Bianco di Ceparano (Albana di Romagna Secco): Figgy, fresh, forward, and a f*cking bargain. $20 A-
- 2022 Fiorentini ‘Cleonice’ (Albana di Romagna Secco): Linear, structured, and old-school with just-ripe white fruits and vibrancy to spare. $NA A-
- 2021 Duckhorn Merlot (Napa Valley): Plummy, juicy, expressive, energetic, and maybe a bit too herbally funky. $60 A-
- NV Domaine Bousquet Brut (Mendoza): Fruity, fun, and ready to give mot Cava a run for its money. $14 B
- 2020 Domaine Bousquet AMERI Single Vineyard Red Blend (Gualtallary): A very juicy, very good, though short trip through a land of red and black currant, plums, leather, oak spice, vanilla, violets, and cola. $37 B+
- 2020 Domaine Bousquet AMERI Single Vineyard Malbec (Gualtallary): Big, dark, mineral, and silky, with green pepper, black pepper, and lots of attitude! $37 A-
