My latest piece for Napa Valley Wine Academy’s Pouring Points is live, and in it I pull no punches when it comes to defending pink vino: What Can We Learn from the World’s Top Rosé Wines?.
The short version of the story: I’m sick and tired of the wine world treating Rosé like wine’s troubled middle child vying for attention and never getting enough love. F–k that notion. The best still Rosés are among the best wines in the world—period. It’s time we stopped pretending that they’re somehow lesser than their best white, red, bubbly, and dessert counterparts.
If you’re brain is still stuck on denying the majesty of world-class Rosé, then you’re boring, narrow-minded, and probably lie about never masturbating. Or something like that. Also, just so NVWA doesn’t fire me, I should note that I don’t talk about people being boring, narrow-minded, or masturbating in the article.
Anyway, check it out at https://napavalleywineacademy.com/what-we-can-learn-from-the-worlds-top-rose-wines/ .
Cheers!
